The Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) Wednesday proposed to the federal government a 14 day inter-state border lockdown to curb the further spread of COVID -19
The decision was taken at the end of the governors’ forum meeting today
The governors also resolved to set up COVID-19 committees at regional level to be headed by state health commissioners
The NGF Chairman, Gov. Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State said the inter-state lockdown became necessary following continued rise in the number of infected person’s and death.
